It is perhaps not a well-known fact that burgers are quite popular in Japan. Now, I am not talking about the big fast food chains (Mcdonald's, Mos burger, Freshness burger, etc.), which are popular in their own right, but 'gourmet burgers'. These burgers can unfortunately run on the expensive side (around and upwards of 1000yen), but this is a function of the ingredients used to make them, such as buns made in house, self-smoked bacon, and organic vegetables.
Their burgers not only taste great (my favourite is the chili cheese burger), but you can get them wrapped in lettuce instead of on bread! This is exceedingly rare here in Tokyo and perfect for those who want to cut carbs a bit, cannot take gluten, or just want something a bit different..

In any case, it is a great option that keeps me coming back every so often.
For those looking to make the trip, the restaurant is located between Hongo-sanchome and Korakuen/Kasuga stations (near Tokyo Dome), check out the details on their website!
